About The Position

The Transload Operator is responsible for loading unit trains and manifest rail cars with crude produced in Trenton, ND, using fixed and mobile loading racks. This role also involves assisting crude haulers with unloading their trucks and safely transloading their load into Savage's holding tank system by hooking up hoses, checking for leaks, and operating the control panel. Additionally, the operator will ensure receiving and shipping paperwork is accurate and verified, perform general maintenance, and be responsible for cleaning, housekeeping, and snow removal. A commitment to safe work practices and the ability to follow standard operating procedures are essential.

Requirements

• Mechanically Inclined
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to attend and pass all tests associated with job-related coursework - this includes, but is not limited to, OSHA, HazMat, and FRA
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Solid work history will be considered in lieu of education
