The Transload Operator is responsible for the daily unloading of materials from trailers and rail cars, operating rail car loading systems and equipment, and ensuring work is performed safely and productively. This role also involves enforcing safety policies, assisting with general facility maintenance, landscape upkeep, and painting. The position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, physical ability to climb rail cars and ladders, comfort with heights, and the capacity to carry up to fifty pounds and walk one to two miles per shift. Travel to other transload terminals for assistance may be required for up to a week at a time. The work schedule is a day shift (6 a.m. - 3 p.m.) with potential for extended hours.
