About The Position

The Transload Operator is responsible for performing all shift roles required at both Conway and Whitesville locations. This role involves transferring materials from railcars to trucks using various equipment and ensuring safe and efficient operations while meeting loading deadlines.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform all shift roles required at both Conway and Whitesville locations.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, grapple trucks, conveyors, pumps, and other equipment for material transfer.
  • Skill in ensuring proper alignment and secure connections between railcars and unloading systems.
  • Capability to operate mobile and fixed equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to meet loading deadlines and adhere to shift schedules.
  • Competence in conducting pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Willingness to complete job safety analyses and report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues.
  • Adherence to all company safety protocols and wearing of required PPE.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with OSHA, FRA, and environmental safety standards.
  • Ability to coordinate with truck drivers, rail crews, and dispatch teams.
  • Skill in maintaining accurate logs of materials handled, equipment usage, and maintenance activities.
  • Proficiency in using basic computer systems for data entry and report generation.

  • Coordinate with truck drivers, rail crews, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of materials handled, equipment usage, and maintenance activities.
  • Use basic computer systems to enter data and generate reports.
