About The Position

The Transload Operator is responsible for performing various shift roles at both Conway and Whitesville locations. This role involves transferring materials from railcars to trucks using a variety of equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and meeting loading deadlines. The operator will also be responsible for equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

  • Perform all shift roles required at both Conway and Whitesville locations.
  • Transfer materials from railcars to trucks using forklifts, grapple trucks, conveyors, pumps, and other equipment.
  • Ensure proper alignment and secure connections between railcars and unloading systems.
  • Operate mobile and fixed equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Meet loading deadlines and adhere to shift schedules.
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Complete job safety analyses and report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and wear required PPE.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, FRA, and environmental safety standards.
  • Coordinate with truck drivers, rail crews, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of materials handled, equipment usage, and maintenance activities.
  • Use basic computer systems to enter data and generate reports.
