About The Position

Kaya by Chemin is seeking Korean and Mandarin/Traditional Chinese speakers for an ongoing Translation Quality Review project focused on e-commerce content. In this role, you will act as a translation auditor, verifying that existing Traditional Chinese translations accurately reflect the original Korean content. The primary focus is on reviewing, comparing, and identifying issues based on provided guidelines, rather than performing new translations.

Requirements

• Strong Mandarin / Chinese skills.
• Comfortable reading and understanding Traditional Chinese.
• At least intermediate Korean reading skills.
• Able to understand Korean product descriptions.
• Comfortable comparing Korean content against its Chinese translation.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to identify differences in meaning and wording.
• Comfortable following quality guidelines.
• Communicative and reliable with the team.
• Interested in language, translation, or AI-related work.

Nice To Haves

• Strong written Chinese is preferred.
• Mainly write Simplified Chinese? You can still apply as long as you can read and understand Traditional Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Read the original Korean product content.
• Compare it with the Traditional Chinese translation.
• Check whether the meaning and information are accurately translated.
• Identify any translation issues or errors.
• Check wording, fluency, and whether the Chinese sounds natural.
• Categorize any issues according to the provided guidelines.
