About The Position

The Translation/Localization Coordinator is responsible for managing the translation and localization of product labeling, instructions for use, packaging, software UI strings, and related regulatory documentation. This role ensures that all translated labeling materials are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time to support product launches and sustaining updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR minimum 3 years of experience with Associate's Degree in areas such as Translations, Localization, Procurement or equivalent.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem solving and proficiency with MS Excel & Office.
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Translations, Localization, Procurement, or equivalent.
  • Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • Ability to cultivate effective relationships with internal/external partners and provide influence over projects and peer groups, demonstrating understanding of vendor management within the medical devices sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage numerous simultaneous translation and localization projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between translation and validation vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Submit, manage, and track translation requests and deliverables.
  • Monitor project timelines, schedules, budgets, and scope; flag risks or delays proactively.
  • Submit, manage, and track quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Provide feedback to vendors and teams to foster continuous improvement and partnership.
  • Review translated content for completeness, formatting, and adherence to requirements and quality standards.
  • Maintain documentation and metrics on localization and vendor performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance, and illuminate efficiency gains.
