About The Position

AMFM Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician (Resident Coordinator) to supervise residents in their Transitional Living Homes. The role involves providing a safe, supportive, and caring environment to promote well-being and encourage client recovery programs. The Resident Coordinator will cooperate with management and clinical staff, possessing knowledge and skills in client supervision and recovery concepts for mental health and co-occurring disorders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and any additional required background checks
• Possess valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.
• Ability to work on a computer, walk/stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and navigate stairs
• Strong communication skills with families, clients, and staff
• Ability to remain professional, empathetic, and patient under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite

Responsibilities

• Providing Direct Support – Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring a structured and supportive environment
• Transportation & Safety – Safely transport clients to scheduled activities and medical appointments
• Behavioral Observation – Monitor client behavior, document observations, and collaborate with clinical teams
• Medication Support – Work with the nursing team to oversee medication self-administration
• Environment Maintenance – Maintain cleanliness and organization within residential facilities
• Facilitating Group Activities – Lead and document recovery-focused group sessions
• Emergency Response – Adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety drills, and respond to crises as needed
