Transition Team Leader - Boulder
About The Position
The YMCA of Northern Colorado is hiring after school staff to help maintain a secure, fun, and inclusive environment for program participants. This role involves supervising a small group of children outside of a BVSD school for an hour or less each afternoon while they wait for the YMCA bus pickup. The shift concludes once the bus arrives. Children of staff members can accompany them if they are also at the school picking up their own child. The position is located at one BVSD elementary school, with specific locations including Lafayette Elementary School, Peak to Peak Lafayette, Meadowlark School Erie, Whittier Elementary Boulder, Creekside Boulder, Columbine Boulder, University Hill Boulder, and High Peaks/BCSIS Boulder. The working hours are approximately 2:40 PM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for one or more days per week. Staff training is paid at $14.81/hour.
Requirements
- Age 16 years or older.
- Ability to monitor children in program.
- Must complete required online trainings and pass background checks.
- Additional requirements exist for drivers and after school program leaders.
