(SESI) shine a positive light on students who need academic, emotional, social, and behavioral support and uncover the unique learner within. The Transition Coordinator will be responsible for providing academic, emotional, and physical services for students who require additional support to thrive in school. They will collaborate with special education teachers, social workers, and administrators to help students age 14 and up prepare for the transition from high school to successful post-secondary. The Transition Coordinator must be willing and able to work with students on job and life skills, community-based instruction, college and career readiness. Any experience with job corps programs, post-secondary academic institutions, or Serve-Safe or Pro-Start training (culinary arts) is a plus. The Transition Coordinator must be willing to spend time making connections in the community that will promote school and benefit students' post-secondary success.
