About The Position

Rolling V Bus Corp. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Transit Driver to join their team. This position is responsible for transporting passengers along assigned routes while ensuring a high standard of customer service and adherence to all safety regulations. This is a full-time, year-round position with a consistent weekday schedule (Monday - Friday). The company emphasizes that every ride matters by helping people live, learn, and achieve every day. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical examination
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable with a strong commitment to safety and punctuality
• Required endorsements: Passenger, School bus, general knowledge, airbrakes

Nice To Haves

• Previous commercial driving or transit experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a transit vehicle along assigned routes and schedules
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transport
• Maintain accurate records, including logs and incident reports
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
• Provide courteous and professional customer service
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management as needed
• Performing pre-trip inspections
• Performing child checks post-route
• Keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations
