ERP System Specialist
About The Position
The Transformation Process System Specialist – ERP serves as the process and system subject matter expert for Finance systems, including Microsoft-based ERP and home-grown tools used by Finance. The role supports Gigapower’s internal and external transformation of its processes and systems, helping stakeholders adopt new ways of working and retire legacy habits. It provides Tier 2 support and connects the end-to-end build process to step-by-step functions in ERP, the Portal, Vitruvi, and IQGeo, with primary depth in ERP and Finance systems. The specialist develops practical materials and training to help functional teams and new build contractors understand systems and execute work more quickly and with quality. The role troubleshoots system and process issues, coordinates with IT counterparts and system suppliers, and uses AI-enabled tools to improve documentation, training, and user support.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with ERP and finance systems, including Microsoft-based platforms, and the finance processes they support.
- Understanding of the end-to-end build process and ability to translate it into step-by-step system functions.
- Experience serving as a system or process subject matter expert or Tier 2 support resource, including troubleshooting issues and opening tickets with IT teams and system suppliers.
- Experience developing training materials, how-to guides, and process documentation that help users execute faster.
- Ability to help stakeholders adopt new systems and processes and retire legacy habits.
- Ability to learn ERP, the Portal, Vitruvi, and IQGeo quickly and support users across them.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with functional teams, IT counterparts, system suppliers, and contractors.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted tools and technology to improve productivity, analysis, and documentation.

- Experience onboarding contractors or external partners to new systems and processes.
- Experience in telecom, fiber, or construction environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the process and system subject matter expert for ERP and Finance systems, supporting Finance’s process and system transformation.
- Help stakeholders adopt new systems and processes and retire legacy habits, particularly in Finance’s day-to-day use of ERP and Finance systems.
- Provide Tier 2 support using an understanding of the end-to-end build process.
- Map the end-to-end build process to step-by-step functions in ERP, the Portal, Vitruvi, and IQGeo, with primary focus on ERP and Finance systems.
- Develop materials that help functional teams understand processes and execute faster.
- Troubleshoot issues as system and process support, and open tickets with IT counterparts and system suppliers.
- Collaborate on how-to training development across ERP, the Portal, Vitruvi, and IQGeo.
- Help new build contractors get up to speed quickly and with quality.
- Use AI-enabled tools and technology to improve documentation, training materials, and user support.
