About The Position
LINC Systems is seeking a part-time Transfer Truck Driver to move products between its Kaysville, Utah warehouse and other branch locations. The driver will operate a straight truck with a GVWR of up to 26,000 lbs, load and unload freight, and assist with warehouse work between runs. The role is on-site at the Kaysville warehouse and is suited to a dependable, safety-minded driver.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card; required to operate a vehicle with a GVWR of 26,000 lbs. No CDL is required.
- Willingness to become forklift certified; LINC provides training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a warehouse setting.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Previous box truck or straight truck experience.
- Forklift experience or current certification.
- Familiarity with Northern Utah routes.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Drive scheduled transfer routes between the Kaysville warehouse and other LINC branches.
- Load, secure, and unload products, including palletized freight.
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload the truck and stage freight in the warehouse.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Verify transfer paperwork and shipments for accuracy.
- Keep the truck clean, organized, and in safe working condition.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.
