Transfer Operator

Road & Rail ServicesChattanooga, TN
Onsite

About The Position

Road & Rail Services (RRS) is expanding its Chattanooga operations and hiring a safety-focused Transfer Operator to join our dedicated day shift crew. Since 1987, we've been delivering safe, reliable, and efficient transportation solutions-and as a Transfer Operator, you'll play a critical role in that mission. As a Transfer Operator, you'll spend your day outdoors transferring bulk materials-both hazardous and non-hazardous-between railcars and tank trucks. Using pumps, hoses, and valves, you'll prepare products for transfer by heating, sparging, or sampling. You'll climb railcars, work at heights, and sometimes wear full hazmat PPE to stay safe. When transfer work slows down, you'll also help with maintenance of the yard and building to keep the site operating efficiently. This variety means no two days are exactly the same. This role demands attention to detail and strict adherence to safety standards, as every transfer you complete helps keep critical products moving safely and on time.
