About The Position
Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Transfer Associate for the 2nd shift. This role is primarily responsible for transferring a specified number of eggs from egg buggies to the setter machine. The associate must always use and maintain personal protective equipment and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations. Wayne-Sanderson Farms is a leader in the poultry industry, built on over a century of expertise, and is the nation's third-largest poultry producer.
Requirements
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
- Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hatchery or relative poultry industry experience.
- Basic math functions and skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform machine checks.
- Transfer eggs from buggies into setter machines.
- Pull and push egg buggies.
- Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, buggies, etc.
- Comply with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal laws, and regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.
