About The Position
The Sheboygan Electronics R&D team is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our metallics research group. In this role, you will lead projects focused on the synthesis and purification of organometallic compounds, monitor experimental processes, and oversee laboratory/facility operations. This role does not offer sponsorship for work authorization. External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or other Engineering or Life Science discipline.
- 1+ years’ experience in chemical industry.
- Eligible to work in the US
Nice To Haves
- Experience with glassware manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO Quality standards and 6S.
- Experience in statistical analysis and data management.
- Experience with analytical techniques and equipment such as, GC, NMR, IR.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience working independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling methods.
