About The Position
Mosaic’s Transactional Liability/M&A division is seeking analysts to join its New York team and work on M&A, tax, and contingent liability insurance placements. The role involves managing deal workflows and underwriting processes, reviewing M&A transaction documents, preparing quotes and policy documents, developing marketing materials, and coordinating with brokers, lawyers, and clients.
Requirements

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other enterprise software tools.

- Experience with M&A, the insurance sector, or other financial institutions or advisors.
Responsibilities
- Manage workflows for deal opportunities involving representations and warranties, tax, or contingent liability insurance.
- Assist with managing the underwriting process and negotiating confidentiality agreements, non-reliance letters, and other ancillary documentation.
- Analyze M&A-related documents, including financial statements, business background information, and purchase agreements, and research issues related to M&A transactions.
- Prepare quotes and policy documents for M&A, tax, and contingent liability transactions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials and presentations.
- Coordinate and communicate with insurance brokers, lawyers, and clients.
