About The Position

Solomon Ward is seeking a Transactional Attorney with experience ranging from mid-level Associate to Partner to join our thriving practice. The role involves handling sophisticated matters for a diverse client base, including M&A, financings, commercial contract negotiations, and general corporate matters, with direct client contact and meaningful responsibility. Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of private law firm experience in financings, M&A, and general transactional matters.
  • Active California bar admission.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound business judgement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a client-service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • For Partner candidates, a portable book of business is a plus, but not necessarily required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle sophisticated matters for a diverse client base, including M&A, financings, commercial contract negotiations, and general corporate matters.
  • Work closely with Partners and clients on financings, restructurings and recapitalizations.
  • Engage in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
  • Provide general corporate counseling, entity formations, and governance.
  • Cultivate client relationships and originate new business.
