About The Position
Mosaic’s Transactional Liability/M&A division is looking for analysts to join our team in New York to work on M&A, tax, and contingent liability insurance placements.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required
- Self-starter
- Intellectual curiosity
- Comfortable in fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other enterprise software tools required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with M&A, insurance sector, or other financial institutions or advisors preferred
Responsibilities
- Managing workflow on deal opportunities that contemplate use of representations & warranties, tax or contingent liability insurance, including assisting in managing the underwriting process and negotiating confidentiality agreements, non-reliance letters, and other ancillary documentation
- Analyzing mergers and acquisitions-related documents, including reviewing financial statements, business background information and purchase agreements, and researching issues related to M&A transactions
- Preparing quotes and policy documents for insurance of M&A, tax and contingent liability transactions
- Collaboration with marketing team to develop materials and presentations
- Coordinating and communicating with insurance brokers, lawyers, and clients
