About The Position

JLL is seeking a Transaction Manager to join their Brokerage team in Charlotte, NC. This role will primarily focus on managing lease transactions, fostering client relationships, and driving business growth. The Transaction Manager will work both independently and as part of a team, with potential to supervise Senior Analysts and Analysts. This position involves managing and collaborating with professionals across various disciplines and business units in a high-volume, client-facing, fast-paced, collaborative, dynamic, and inclusive environment. The role requires taking on key transaction responsibilities, providing market advice, improving client transaction management processes through high-volume transaction handling, reporting, and client meetings. It also includes selecting and managing co-brokers, overseeing analyst responsibilities, reviewing lease documents, writing lease summaries and abstracts, conducting due diligence, gathering and evaluating real estate market data, directing special projects, and preparing commission invoices and tracking transactions in proprietary software.

Requirements

  • 5+ years commercial real estate transaction or leasing experience
  • Real estate brokerage or salesperson’s license
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assume key transaction responsibilities & provide market advice for client(s)
  • Improve client transaction management processes by handling a high volume of transactions, reporting updates to clients and attending regular client meetings & conference calls
  • Select & manage co-brokers for lease transactions while managing analyst responsibilities throughout the deal process
  • Review lease documents, write lease summaries & abstracts, as part of due diligence process
  • Gather & evaluate real estate market & property data by researching market, companies, landlords, & potential subtenants
  • Work on and direct special projects & assignments
  • Prepare commission invoices and track transactions in proprietary software programs
