About The Position

ELIFIN® is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transaction Coordinator to manage the internal processing of commercial real estate deals. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of the brokerage, ensuring accuracy from the initial listing agreement to the final commission payment. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment, takes ownership of processes, and is energized by consistency and precision. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Baton Rouge, LA, reporting to the Director of Operations.

Requirements

  • Extreme attention to detail; nothing gets past you.
  • Highly averse to errors and take personal pride in getting it right.
  • Logical and able to understand real estate agreements and contracts (training provided).
  • Proactive, self-directed, and do not need daily oversight to stay productive.
  • Enjoy proceduralized work with a steady rhythm and take pride in running a tight, repeatable process where accuracy compounds over time.
  • Energized by consistency and process; would rather master a system and run it flawlessly than reinvent the wheel every day.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a transaction coordination, accounting, finance, or similar support role.
  • Comfortable reading contracts, spotting inconsistencies, and advancing work forward without someone telling you what to do next.

  • Real estate experience is a huge plus.
  • Salesforce experience is a huge plus.
  • Real estate or Salesforce experience.

Responsibilities

  • Convert listing agreements into active listings in Salesforce.
  • Advance listings to "pending deals" status.
  • Handle amendments and deadline changes.
  • Record closed deals.
  • Process price changes.
  • Receive and review contracts from agents and update pipeline statuses accordingly.
  • Maintain and audit the company pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Track escrow deposit status and flag discrepancies.
  • Record commissions.
  • Prepare invoices.
  • Manage documents in Dropbox with consistent naming and organization.
  • Place sign orders and coordinate with vendors.
  • Operate independently and stay ahead of deadlines without direct supervision.
