About The Position

Capital Title Insurance Agency is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to join their Birmingham office. This role is ideal for someone with title industry experience who enjoys collaborating with agents, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient transaction progression. The Transaction Coordinator will be a primary point of contact throughout the transaction process, working closely with the Document Coordinator and branch team to support agents, customers, and closing-related needs. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in the title industry.
  • Basic understanding of title documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral, written, and language skills to comprehend instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to write clear, effective, and error-free correspondence.
  • Ability to respond effectively to internal and external customer questions.
  • Demonstrates group presentation skills.
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.
  • Excellent mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute ratios, rates, and percentages.
  • Strong math and analytical skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced Escrow Agent, Level II Certification.
  • Confidence in answering questions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key point of contact throughout the transaction process.
  • Work closely with the Document Coordinator and branch team to support agents, customers, and closing-related needs.
  • Answer customer questions regarding the status of transactions.
  • Review title commitments and send them to agents with a list of requirements for closing.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of closings.
  • Review closing documents for accuracy and send them to agents.
  • Update information in RamQuest software, including notes, task lists, and tracking.
  • Understand and comply with TRID regulations, including the protection of Non-Public Information.
