About The Position

Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support an advanced automated transportation system at Miami Airport. The technician helps keep the system operating safely and reliably by inspecting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, responding to alerts, and performing repairs. This is a full-time hourly position on the overnight shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Pay is $20.00–$25.00 per hour based on relevant experience and certifications, plus a 15% overnight shift differential. Applications are accepted until November 14, 2026, although the role may be filled earlier.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic technical knowledge or hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems.
• Ability to assist with troubleshooting and basic repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions, diagrams, or manuals.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in different environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Basic English communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of maintenance and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
