Tram System Maintenance Technician - Night Shift
About The Position
Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support an automated transportation system at Miami Airport. The role involves working with electrical and mechanical systems to help keep the system operating safely and reliably. The technician performs routine inspections and preventive maintenance, assists with troubleshooting and repairs, supports larger team projects, responds to system alerts, and contributes to daily operations and a safe rider experience. This is a full-time hourly position on the overnight shift, scheduled from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Pay is $20.00–$25.00 per hour based on relevant experience and certifications, with a 15% overnight shift differential. Applications are accepted until November 14, 2026, although the position may be filled earlier. Leitner-Poma designs, engineers, manufactures, and maintains cable transport systems across North America.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic technical knowledge or hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems.
- Ability to assist with troubleshooting and basic repairs.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, diagrams, or manuals.
- Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Basic English communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
