Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent worker with capability to solve complex problems
  • Familiar with Linux Environment
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined in ITAR 22 CFR 120.62 (e.g., U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or protected individual).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Linux environment and Software Tools such as MATLAB, C/C++, Python
  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and verifies trajectory simulations which merge launch vehicle constraints and capabilities with vehicle and system requirements/objectives.
  • Develop detailed 3-DOF and 6-DOF simulation capabilities of the entire launch vehicle and upper stage phases of flight to support internal and external customer needs and analyses.
  • Ability to work with other sub-systems.
  • Ability to combine information and constraints into a cohesive mission design that meets performance, accuracy, environmental, structural, and operational requirements.
