Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Independent worker with capability to solve complex problems
Familiar with Linux Environment
Must be a U.S. Person as defined in ITAR 22 CFR 120.62 (e.g., U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or protected individual).

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Linux environment and Software Tools such as MATLAB, C/C++, Python
Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, and verifies trajectory simulations which merge launch vehicle constraints and capabilities with vehicle and system requirements/objectives.
Develop detailed 3-DOF and 6-DOF simulation capabilities of the entire launch vehicle and upper stage phases of flight to support internal and external customer needs and analyses.
Ability to work with other sub-systems.
Ability to combine information and constraints into a cohesive mission design that meets performance, accuracy, environmental, structural, and operational requirements.
