About The Position

This role is responsible for executing training schedules for new employees, ensuring compliance with specifications, and instructing team members on standard operating procedures. The Training Specialist will utilize various training techniques, adapt sessions to minimize production disruption, and evaluate training outcomes to achieve desired results. This position also involves assessing trainee understanding and progress, maintaining records, and providing feedback to supervisors. Adherence to quality and safety policies is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Execute training schedule for new employees and ensure work performed is in compliance with specifications.
• Instruct and train team members in standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
• Execute training programs using techniques such as classroom learning, demonstrations, one-on-one coaching, or production line how-to.
• Adapt training sessions to minimize disruption to normal production.
• Evaluate the outcomes of the training sessions and consult with the training team to adjust the program to achieve desired results.
• Effectively assess trainee’s understanding, progress, and skill level; maintain records of trainees’ progress and achievements.
• Record and provide feedback on new team member performance/non-performance to Department Area/Supervisor.
• Adhere to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused, and supporting continuous improvement activities.
• Adhere to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.
