About The Position
The Training Specialist will be responsible for executing training schedules for new employees, ensuring compliance with specifications, and instructing team members on standard operating procedures. This role involves delivering training through various methods such as classroom learning, demonstrations, one-on-one coaching, and production line how-to sessions, while minimizing disruption to normal production. The specialist will evaluate training outcomes, adjust programs as needed, assess trainee understanding and progress, and maintain records. Additionally, the role requires providing feedback on new team member performance to supervisors and adhering to quality and safety policies.

Responsibilities
- Execute training schedule for new employees and ensure work performed is in compliance with specifications.
- Instruct and train team members in standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
- Execute training programs using techniques such as classroom learning, demonstrations, one-on-one coaching, or production line how-to.
- Adapt training sessions to minimize disruption to normal production.
- Evaluate the outcomes of the training sessions and consult with the training team to adjust the program to achieve desired results.
- Effectively assess trainee’s understanding, progress, and skill level; maintain records of trainees’ progress and achievements.
- Record and provide feedback on new team member performance/non-performance to Department Area/Supervisor.
- Adhere to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused, and supporting continuous improvement activities.
- Adhere to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.
