About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Training Specialist to join our team. This role involves conducting classroom and new hire training, as well as ongoing training for various departments. You will be responsible for tracking new hire training progress to ensure all requirements are met before employees transition to their new roles. Additionally, you will maintain and centralize policies and procedures, develop training materials, and test system releases and updates. This position also offers opportunities for continuous learning and career development within the Training Department.

Requirements

  • Computer and technology skills: Windows and web-based systems, Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail as well as supporting the member utilization of online/mobile banking and related services.
  • Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations or while multi-tasking.
  • Professional and service attitude.
  • Math skills along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with the core system Fiserv DNA
  • Familiarity with the online banking system Q2 and Q2 Central
  • Working knowledge of the authoring program Articulate
  • Understanding of the learning management system (LMS) Cornerstone
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of organization development or training experience, preferably within the credit union industry.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct classroom and new hire training as well as ongoing training classes for select departments.
  • Track new hire training and development, to ensure that all requirements are completed before the employee transitions to their new position.
  • Upkeep, centralize and unite policies and procedures as a reference for select departments.
  • Develop and maintain training material, including proficiency measurement methods and career development modules.
  • Test and validate releases and updates when needed for various systems related to front-line staff.
  • Learning and supporting the other Training Department areas.
  • Continual education and career development.
