About The Position

Amyx is seeking a Training Specialist to join our Defense Logistics Agency client remotely. This role involves developing and delivering IT and end-user training on computer hardware and application software. The specialist will research and revise training courses, prepare training catalogs, and develop all necessary instructor and student materials, including course outlines, manuals, workbooks, and critique forms. Training will be conducted through formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars. A key requirement is the ability to communicate accurate information effectively.

Requirements

Five (5) years relevant experience
Experience in information systems development, training, or related fields.
Relevant Information Technology Instructor/Trainer certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)

Responsibilities

Develops and provides IT and end user training on computer hardware and application software.
Conducts research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs.
Prepares all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids).
Prepares all student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars.
Must have the ability to communicate accurate information.
