The Senior Training Specialist is responsible for effectively facilitating training and development activities to all levels of the organization, within Provider Network Management; demonstrating knowledge of adult learning principles and adjusting teaching style to meet the needs of virtual students. The Senior Training Specialist applies formal instructional design methods, including ADDIE, to analyze, design, develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of training and development programs. This role implements complex and specialized learning strategies to improve organizational performance, supports the continuous refinement of existing programs, and designs and develops training across multiple modalities, including ILT/VILT, blended learning, and eLearning. The position creates professional-level performance support programs and materials that incorporate innovative learning methods and best practices in adult learning theory, while partnering with department Instructional Designers, Training Consultant, LMS technologists, business partners, and leadership to bring enhanced programs to life in the classroom. The Senior Training Specialist also evaluates associates’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes in training and develops coaching processes to help performance meet or exceed standards. This role works quickly and effectively across multiple projects, organizes and prioritizes work to meet tight deadlines, responds positively to ad hoc requests, feedback, scope changes, and a dynamic work environment, and during virtual training may act as a producer by monitoring chats, executing breakout groups, and conducting polls.
