About The Position

A privately owned and operated construction company in Delray Beach is seeking a Training Specialist to build and lead training initiatives across the organization. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take full ownership of the training function—developing programs, shaping onboarding, and helping drive a culture of continuous learning across both field and office teams.

Requirements

Construction industry experience (required)
3+ years of experience in training, coaching, or adult learning roles
Passion for teaching, coaching, and developing others
Proven experience designing and delivering training programs (not just facilitating)
Ability to connect with both field teams and office personnel
Long-term mindset with a desire to build and own a training function
Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Experience developing onboarding programs
Background in instructional design or adult learning principles
Familiarity with heavy civil or paving operations

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging training programs for field staff and office personnel
Own the onboarding experience from start to finish
Create internal training materials, resources, and content
Act as an internal advocate for process education and workforce development
Think creatively about how to effectively reach and engage a diverse workforce
Promote and market training initiatives internally to drive participation and adoption
Take full accountability for the company-wide training function, building it from the ground up
