About The Position

The Training Resource Specialist is an entry-level, 6–9-month contract role based in our Columbia, Maryland facility. In this role, you will partner closely with the Service Training Manager to support training initiatives across North America. Responsibilities include coordinating training activities, evaluating onboarding programs, and developing and refining learning materials for service teams. You will collaborate with service employees and leaders across departments to assess role requirements and training needs, helping enhance learning programs, resources, and overall employee development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Education, Human Resources, Business Communication, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with SharePoint

  • Technical writing experience
  • Instructional design experience
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct role analyses and translate findings into structured learning frameworks
  • Identify gaps in existing training materials and prioritize new content development based on urgency and impact
  • Design, develop, and update digital and physical learning materials to improve knowledge retention and application
  • Simplify complex technical information into clear, structured learning content aligned to required skills and competencies
  • Support the development and improvement of onboarding plans and comprehensive training programs for Service personnel
  • Review and refine role development assessments to ensure alignment with RSNA Service standards and ease of use
  • Organize and distribute training materials through appropriate communication channels and platforms
  • Manage logistics for training events, including scheduling, coordination, and distribution of content
