About The Position
Instructs individuals and groups in theory and application of truck driving skills.
Requirements
- Truck driving experience is a requirement
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a strong work history
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Hold a valid CDL A for the past two years
- Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of safety rules and regulations is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates and explains handling of commercial vehicles in emergencies, safe driving techniques, and mechanical scenarios
- Supervises individual's performance of routine driving and parking requirements
- Observes individual's driving habits and reactions under various driving conditions to ensure conformance with vehicle operational standards
- Teaches motor vehicle regulations and insurance laws
- Maintains safe learning environments throughout the facility
- Coordinates with other departments to maintain training spaces/equipment
