The Temporary Part-Time Training Manager supports Vanderbilt University Public Safety (VUPS) by coordinating, scheduling, and facilitating departmental training and professional development activities. This temporary role provides supplemental support to Public Safety leadership by helping maintain training records, coordinating training logistics, supporting annual in-service requirements, and assisting with onboarding and development initiatives for public safety personnel. This position is intended to provide operational and administrative training support during a transitional period, special project initiative, staffing gap, or organizational need. The role works collaboratively with Public Safety leadership, supervisors, instructors, and university partners to help ensure training activities are organized, communicated effectively, and aligned with departmental expectations.
