About The Position

This role involves maintaining a comprehensive documentation system for training records, developing documentation for training processes, tracking training completion, identifying training non-compliance, and assisting with audits. The position requires adherence to federal and state regulatory guidelines, maintaining professional and ethical standards, and effective communication. The company is committed to following immunization recommendations from the CDC, requiring employees to receive an annual Influenza vaccination or obtain an approved exemption.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Two (2) plus years of related experience and/or training.
  • First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
  • Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training, and team decisions as needed.
  • Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the child and program operations.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally by phone or face-to-face with agency staff, vendors, community members and regulatory and contract staff.
  • Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics and additional information in accordance with agency policies, licensing and/or contract requirements.
  • Implement Compass Connections safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency.
  • Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed and as requested by the supervisor.
  • Maintain a comprehensive documentation system and be able to locate and retrieve training records as needed.
  • Develops, prepares and/or maintains documentation pertaining to training processes, tracking system and other training protocols.
  • Receives, tracks and documents training completion for all staff in a timely manner.
  • Utilizes internal data systems to identify training non-compliance.
  • Utilizes internal software and applications for electronic filing.
  • Maintains and files training documentation in the employee training binder.
  • Assists with both internal and external documentation audits.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation or training in accordance with agency policies and procedures and contract and regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners.
  • Support, encourage, and recruit foster parents.
  • Other duties as assigned.
