About The Position

In this role, you will play a key part in developing the skills and effectiveness of both ODJFS internal staff and County JFS partners. Your work centers on creating engaging learning experiences, supporting leadership development, and ensuring staff have the tools they need to perform their roles confidently and consistently. This position blends instructional design, facilitation, collaboration, and organizational support.

Requirements

• 18 mos. exp. preparing & delivering informational & instructional programs for adults using instructional design model & doing & analyzing performance needs assessments.
• Completion of associate core program in instructional design, adult learning, education, instructional technology, or related field.
• Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications noted above.

• Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
• Excellent oral communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong written communication skills, including creating resources and job aids.
• Ability to conduct needs assessments and apply analytical thinking.

• Adaptability and comfort working across multiple program areas.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Familiarity with e‑learning development tools and learning management system (LMS) environments.
• Change management awareness and the ability to support change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and support program consultations.
• Create and facilitate in-person and virtual training.
• Facilitate courses such as team building, DISC, and soft skills training.
• Support development of supervisor’s leadership program.
• Assist with projects such as New Employee Orientation, Supervisor Bootcamp, and other Employee and Business Services projects.
• Test training modules for LMS implementation.
• Support updates to the team’s internal SharePoint pages.
• Develop job aids, SOPs, evaluations, visuals, and forms.
