About The Position

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Coordinator to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.  The Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing and delivering new hire training and scheduling on-the-job training. This role owns the weekly rhythm of new hire welcome sessions, on-the-job training (OJT) check-ins, and learning plan tracking, while maintaining accurate records, responding to trainee questions, and continuously improving the training experience based on feedback and evaluation data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in training coordination, instructional design, facilitation, or a related learning and development role.
  • Hands-on experience designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs in a corporate or technical environment.
  • Prior experience supporting onboarding programs or compliance training is strongly preferred.
  • Experience monitoring OJT progress and managing new hire training cadences is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and learning styles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly convey technical and procedural training content to varied audiences.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent training initiatives on a structured weekly cadence.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and familiarity with corporate eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate) is a plus.
  • Comfort with data — able to interpret training metrics and present evaluation results in a clear, actionable format.
  • Ability to build rapport and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment with employees at all levels.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and escalate at-risk trainees early.

  • Experience monitoring OJT progress and managing new hire training cadences is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and familiarity with corporate eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Attend the New Hire Kickoff meeting (New Hire Training call) for incoming ICX new hires and present the new hire portion, introducing Salute University and guiding new hires to the start of their new hire training.
  • Following the Welcome Call, send each new hire a welcome letter, their training plan, and a welcome chat.
  • Grant sandbox access, sharing links and folders so trainees can access needed materials, and set up sandbox folders in advance for incoming trainees.
  • Review upcoming new hires and build or update their training plans ahead of their start date.
  • Attend all scheduled Midpoint and Final OJT check-in meetings, actively asking about progress and identifying issues.
  • Complete OJT summary forms, documenting progress notes and concerns.
  • Send OJT reminder emails to Program Managers and Trainers regarding upcoming assignments and deadlines, including survey links for trainees in their final OJT week.
  • Complete any missed or rescheduled check-ins by end of week.
  • Review trainee learning plans in Salute University, tracking completion status and missed items.
  • Contact the trainee or appropriate lead when issues or gaps are identified.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date training records for all new hires.
  • Continue tracking trainee completion and engagement throughout new hire training.
  • Monitor the survey tracking system and follow up with trainees and trainers who have not completed required surveys.
  • Review submitted survey responses weekly to identify trends, issues, and feedback requiring action.
  • Monitor email and chat throughout the day to respond clearly and promptly to trainee questions, escalating to the appropriate lead if needed.
  • Send weekly check-in messages to all trainees.
  • Finalize training plans for the following week, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and ready to send.
  • Keep an eye on trainee engagement, completion, and performance throughout their training.
  • Step in early if a trainee is falling behind, escalating to the appropriate lead or manager as needed
