About The Position

Responsible for facilitating the training of team members in accordance with property policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal laws. Works closely with management to ensure training priorities and methods meet departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements

  • The ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service.
  • The ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
  • The ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • The availability to work all shifts.
  • The ability to work in a fast–paced environment and stressful situations.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • The ability to verify the right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree, with one year supervisory or managerial experience, and two years’ experience in employment and/or in developing and delivering training modules preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with managers and supervisors to ensure their training needs are met.
  • Keeps accurate and timely records and prepares statistical reports concerning training and development.
  • Makes recommendations to management for improvement of organization’s training policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Develops and delivers trainings using a variety of techniques including one-on-one, small group and large group formats.
  • Trains department job coaches, providing professional training preparation support.
  • Conducts training audits and provides formal feedback to job coaches and instructors about job skills training.
  • Supervises the training activities of departmental job coaches and instructors.
  • Maintains current and accurate records for employees showing attendance and successful completion of all training modules. Ensures that payroll receives applicable records on a timely basis for payment of differential for Certified Instructor or Certified Job Coach hours, and for attendance of employees at training programs.
  • Recommends trainings or refreshers based on input from department management.
  • Develops and participates in special projects and completes other duties as requested or assigned.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of team member and departmental information.
