About The Position
The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OU HSC) is seeking a full-time Training Coordinator for The Division of Comparative Medicine. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and providing training for animal care staff and others who may be exposed to laboratory animals. OU HSC is a comprehensive academic health center with seven professional colleges, serving approximately 4,000 students in more than 70 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Science, Laboratory Animal Technology, or a related discipline
- 3 years experience in laboratory animal care, training, or a related environment
- Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree. A one-to-one ratio is used to determine the number of years of experience required in place of a degree.
