As a Training Centre Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service, Scheduled patrol, Access card issuance and writing reports, since you will be working with people all shift in Data Centre environment.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid Manitoba security license
Exceptional customer service skills
Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Be able to work Evening shifts and Weekend day shifts
Be able to cover extra shifts added during Tax season
Leadership and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

First aid certification an asset
Previous experience in the security industry (asset)

Responsibilities

Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
Answer questions in person or by phone
Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
Maintain a safe and Secure environment
Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence • Security guard will assist site staff and visitors to ensure safe and secure environment.
Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
Performing environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises etc
Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
