About The Position

Case Farms is seeking a 1st Shift Trainer (Bilingual) to coordinate and facilitate orientation and annual training using the Alchemy system. This role ensures all employees have a complete understanding of company processes, safety procedures, and food safety procedures. The Trainer will administer the orientation and onboarding program, track new hire progression, and assist management with retention action plans. They will also communicate company policies, provide hands-on training, maintain training records, and conduct plant tours. Ensuring new hires have and understand the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is crucial. The Trainer will set up training schedules, complete annual training by year-end, and correspond with management to ensure training plans are communicated and issues are addressed. Support for the HR department is also required. Occasional Saturdays may be necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience training others, or with public speaking required.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Professionalism in all aspects of work.
  • Strong organizational skills required

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or Food Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and facilitates orientation and annual training using Alchemy SISTEM.
  • Ensure all employees starting work have complete understanding of our processes, safety procedures, and food safety procedures.
  • Administers orientation and onboarding program.
  • Tracks progression of new hires during first 90 days and assist management in retention action plans.
  • Communicates Company policies and procedures to employees.
  • Assists with hands on training for all employee job duties.
  • Maintains new hire paperwork, and tracks all training records.
  • Gives all new hires a plant tour, assist with on the floor training, and maintain a continuous presence throughout the production areas.
  • Ensure new hires have the Personal Protective Equipment necessary for their position and understand how to use PPE.
  • Set up schedules for training times and complete all annual training by year-end each year.
  • Correspond with all levels of management throughout the facility to ensure training plans are communicated and issues are addressed.
  • Provides support to HR department as needed.
  • May be required to work occasional Saturdays as needed.
