Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to meet company driving guidelines
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Must have one year continuous experience at BGT or AI
  • Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds (sometimes in grounds areas)
  • Must be able to work climb in upwards on 205 feet.
  • Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Must have strong human relations skills
  • Strong organizational and management skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Word, working knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and buying techniques including price/term negotiation
  • Problem solving/ conflict resolution skills and ability to promote a team environment
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing with limited supervision
  • Solid knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and perpetual inventory systems

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely issuance and closure of purchase requisitions from approved orders
  • Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve vendor payment issues and develop recommendations for process improvements
  • Liaise with Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Accounts Payable, Park Sr. Park Operations and Park Support Leadership
  • Represents the buying organization for quotes (Ops, Heath Services, EH&S, D&E as needed)
  • Responsible for procurement of goods and services to ensure the park’s needs are met while adhering to the general guidelines of SEA Purchasing Standards
  • Seek to obtain and purchase all goods and services at the lowest possible total end user cost considering the guidelines of quality, delivery, service, and price
  • Assist with office duties to include answering calls, computer data entry, receiving and entering orders into SAP (ensure accuracy), and other miscellaneous office duties
  • Create, process and close out purchase orders
  • Deliver Operations new team member orientation
  • Train and monitor training of new team members in all cost centers
  • Audit in-park training
  • Process Operations department paperwork: data changes (including promotions); transfers; terminations
  • Write SOPS
  • Maintain database for SOPs, lesson plans, tests and audits
  • Assist Operations areas and Operations office as needed
  • Assist HR with hiring and other functions as needed (Assessing/ panels)
  • Assist Safety and Legal with claims and other functions as needed.
  • Cover shifts in Operations locations when needed
