About The Position

GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training from Squad through Echelon Above Brigade (EAB). This role involves technical integration between simulation and C4I systems, establishing and maintaining training and exercise networks, and accomplishing Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities. As a Trainer II, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter by building and enabling the readiness of our Nation's Army. You will prepare and deliver Mission Command training based on event/exercise plans, plan, coordinate, and execute collective Mission Command training, and assist unit leadership in planning individual and collective training to meet their objectives. You will also identify and help fill any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) prior to training execution, update training support packages (TSP) and products, and maintain a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs. Additionally, you will support Unit Commander’s Training Objectives by developing training methods and materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with client/user specifications. You will participate in planning meetings and conferences to coordinate training plans, methods, facilities, and systems, and schedule facilities, services, and systems for planned events. This role integrates requisite Live, Virtual, Constructive, Command and Control capabilities within training environments and provides over-the-shoulder training, integration, and simulation/stimulation support within 2 or more assigned Functional Areas. You will achieve and maintain Basic and Subject Matter Expert (SME) Certification and Annual SME re-certification as stated in the GDIT Professional Development and Certification Program (PDCP). You will also participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required to support customer requirements, and may lead planning or operational workgroups and mentor customer personnel of other MTC trainers.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 8+ years of relevant military experience.
  • Basic knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in alarm monitor procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter.
  • Current SECRET clearance required.
  • Basic knowledge of the principals, methods, and techniques used in the monitoring of security systems.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and delivers Mission Command training based on event / exercise plans.
