About The Position

The CPR Instructor is responsible to teach classes in accordance with the EMS Safety course regulations and use the HSI educational materials. The instructor also portray and teaches the company culture and expectations by helping gain a vision of how to make a difference daily in applying the five Chrysalis Values: Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, and Accountability.

Requirements

• 18 years of age
• Currently certified in HSI First Aid and CPR
• Capable of communicating effectively in both verbal and written form
• Ability to teach in a group setting
• Must be able to attend and pass the train the trainer program as a condition of employment

Nice To Haves

• Basic American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications
• Energetic
• Teaching experience
• Ability to teach in a group setting
• Knowledge of Chrysalis programs
• Ability to teach material effectively
• Ability and desire to be an excellent example for new employees
• Ability to utilize basic teaching strategies
• Computer skills
• Great public relations skills
