About The Position

The Corporate Trainer, Sales provides ongoing training, coaching, and management to Call Center Loan Advisors. The position is designed to help create an atmosphere of continuous performance development within the Call Center and ensures the Mission of Sales Development is being carried through the team’s initiatives. This individual will assist with training Call Center Loan Advisors. The ideal candidate will have a combination of training experience and mortgage sales experience.

Requirements

  • Initiative-taker, goal-oriented professional who is focused on providing the highest level of customer service.
  • Ability to obtain state mortgage originator licenses by completing all necessary education and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Min. 3 years Mortgage Sales Experience or related training experience.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from a college or university; and/or 3+ year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain active NMLS registration (and any required state mortgage licenses, as applicable) to perform the production support portion of training where Loan Advisors report directly to the Sales Trainer.

Responsibilities

  • Train Loan Advisors on Freedom Mortgage Corporation’s systems, processes and procedures, sales scripts, compliance requirements, and customer service skills.
  • Act as the direct supervisor for LAs during training and production, delivering daily coaching and work direction; managing performance to sales KPIs and compliance standards; handling timekeeping/attendance and related documentation; and escalating corrective action as appropriate in accordance with policy and applicable laws.
  • Lead call reviews and coaching sessions.
  • Analyze production reports that contain key performance indicators.
  • Partner with Sales and business leadership to provide ongoing visibility into trainee progress and performance during training and production support, including communicating sales/compliance KPI results, attendance, and behavioral concerns; coordinating coaching or corrective action plans; and escalating issues to their direct manager in accordance with policy.
  • Demonstrate and maintain ongoing industry knowledge and professional development by staying current on mortgage industry changes, regulatory requirements, internal processes, and evolving best practices; identify training content requiring updates and escalate changes through the established change management process to support continued effectiveness and compliance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to support Learning & Development content creators with the development of training materials for coaching sessions and classroom presentations.
  • Report to the Manager Corporate Training Sales Development.
  • Collaborate with team members to help execute the mission statement.
  • Help execute Call Center initiatives and training pilots.
  • Lead by example and assist with onboarding new Corporate Trainers - Sales.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
