About The Position

Moose Lake Village, a Cassia senior community providing skilled nursing services and memory care, is hiring an on-call Trained Medication Aide (TMA). The TMA administers medications according to policy, assists residents with personal care and daily activities, monitors vital signs and behavior, and helps maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful living environment. The ideal candidate works well with a team and is comfortable working independently. The position is on-call, located at 710 S Kenwood Avenue, Moose Lake, Minnesota 55767. Pay is $23.64–$24.85 per hour depending on experience. Shift differentials are $1 per hour for evenings and $2 per hour for nights. Moose Lake Village is a 72-bed senior care community. Requirements

Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant certification.
Current TMA certification in Minnesota.
Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
Ability to stand for the length of an 8-hour shift.
Team-player approach, passion for elder care, and ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Moose Lake policies.
Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
Review and follow written care plans.
Measure and record vital signs, including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure, using new computerized software.
Assist with resident care, including answering light calls, feeding residents, and helping residents use the bathroom.
Observe resident behavior and report changes in condition or behavior to a supervisor.
Perform other duties as requested.
