About The Position

The operator moves the truck from the receiving department side of the building to the shipping side for pick up. The person for this position will play a critical role in getting much needed product to our neighbors. You can expect a fast-paced environment where you will be physically active and highly productive. The applicant should have attention on all safety protocols.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ operating Heavy Equipment/Tractor/Trailer or equivalent experience
• CDL Preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
• Understands the importance of safety and operate equipment following our safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a yard jockey or trailer switcher
• Repositioning trailers to and from and between dock doors
• Compliance of safety equipment usage and safety policies application
• Required reporting and yard management
• Supporting facilities and or operations group as directed
• Training back up operators and support other duties as needed
