About The Position

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Trailer Technician / Reefer Technician to repair and maintain the reefer units at our Reyes Beverage Group facility in Grand Prairie. You will primarily be working on Carrier equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 3 plus years of related experience.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement).

Nice To Haves

• Technical School Certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing Carrier refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect, repair, and diagnose refrigeration and heating units, as well as possible hydraulic liftgate components.
• Complete thorough documentation of work orders for repairs through the online AssetWorks system.
• Assess the structural integrity and body of the asset, repair and replace parts as needed, and perform the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) annual inspection certification.
• Work in a safe manner and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
