About The Position
Central Transport is a leading Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carrier with an extensive network across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role involves maintaining a large fleet of over 2,200 tractors, 8,500 trailers, and 1,700 forklifts. Central Transport is committed to hiring talented individuals to ensure continued success and expansion.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- Basic set of tools

- ASE certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services
- Repair trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
- Responsible for repairing damage to containers, trailers, and chassis
- Repairing tears on the sides of containers
- Replacing lights
- Tire repair
- Landing gear repair
- Frame repair
