About The Position

PAM Transport is seeking highly motivated skilled trailer mechanics. From beginners to skilled leaders, each technician will be an integral part of keeping America’s freight moving forward. PAM Transport was founded in Tontitown, Arkansas, in 1980 by Paul Allen Maestri as a 5-truck operation. In our 40+ years of being in business, we have become an international company with more than 2,200 trucks and 8,500 trailers. Requirements

• Minimum one year on trailer/mechanical experience.
• Repair brake system and axels on trailers.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Own basic tools.
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States
• Successful completion of background check and drug test
• Acceptable physical examination

Responsibilities

• Perform accident damage repairs and PM maintenance on trailers.
• Perform aluminum and steel welding.
• Perform various maintenance on repair tasks on trailers.
• Properly document and maintain records of equipment.
• Replace trailer panels and sheet metal.
• Repair wood/metal flooring in trailers.
