About The Position

Spee Dee Delivery is a family-owned and operated company founded in 1978. Our core business is standard, next-day, ground delivery, with corporate headquarters in St. Cloud, MN. We employ over 1,800 people and have expanded throughout the Midwest. The Trailer Service Technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining the company's fleet trailers that are in daily operation.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle or be willing to learn
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
• Must be able to spend a minimum of eight hours on feet
• Work environment involves ability to bend, kneel, crouch, walk, and drive
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of drum and disc brake systems
• Knowledge of trailer wiring, lighting, greasing, brakes, and lift gate
• Welding and torch experience

Responsibilities

• Inspect trailers for compliance
• Service ABS brakes
• General maintenance on fleet trailers
• Perform other related duties as assigned
